Meet Harrison Peters
Currently School Support Officer at The Houston Independent School District, Mr. Peters has been appointed as Chief of Schools. He is looking forward to inspiring and supporting school leaders to create the highest expectations for students. When asked who his hero is, he responded, "My grandmother is my hero as she only obtained a second grade education but is overwhelmingly responsible for my success." What an inspiration! Help us welcome Mr. Peters to Hillsborough County Public Schools!
Meet Valerie Newton
Currently Assistant Principal at Walker Middle Magnet, Ms. Newton has been appointed as the Principal of Greco Middle School. She looks forward to preparing students for life by meeting students where they are and provided them with what they need to be successful. During her leisure time she enjoys church activities (Youth Director/Director of Sanctuary choir) and travelling with her son. Congratulations Ms. Newton!
Meet Jarrod Haneline
Currently Assistant Principal at Bryan Elementary, Mr. Haneline has been appointed as the Principal of Bailey Elementary. "With the help of all in the Bailey community we will help all students to reach their highest potential," shared Mr. Haneline. During his leisure time he loves to spend time and go on adventures with this family. Congratulations Mr. Haneline!
Meet Michelle McClellan
Currently Assistant Principal at J. S. Robinson Elementary, Ms. McClellan has been appointed as the Principal of Jackson Elementary. She looks forward to fostering learning through goal setting, progress monitoring, and student leadership opportunities. Ms. McClellan shared that her proudest moment was becoming a school leader. Meet Elizabeth Tuten, Ed.D.
Currently Assistant Principal for Curriculum at Sickles High School, Dr. Tuten has been appointed as the Manager of Planning and Related Services. She looks forward to assuring that students are provided with the resources and support that allow them to achieve their potential both academically and professionally.
