The Office of Secondary Science supports the curriculum and instruction for high school science courses. Teacher support and resource allocation are a significant function of Secondary Science.
This office facilitates implementation of course requirements as determined by the State of Florida, the CollegeBoard, and the International Baccalaureate Programme through curriculum alignment, professional development, and collaborative practices within and among schools. Secondary Science supports the safe instruction of a hands-on science program grades nine through twelve.
The Secondary Science teams work collaboratively with other members of the Curriculum and Instruction team to provide a robust science experience kindergarten through high school.
