Citizenship Program

Citizenship classes are offered for those English Language Learners who have some basic English Language proficiency but need help in preparing for a citizenship (naturalization) test, administered by the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) to become United States citizens.

Our Citizenship programs are conveniently designed to provide instruction through traditional classroom experiences at select locations throughout the district. Please contact our sites to determine where programs are offered near you.

Courses are available mornings, afternoons and evenings. Please contact the site near you to see if the Citizenship class is offered. Once you have selected a site, please visit or call to schedule an appointment to discuss your available options.

Students participating in our Citizenship programs may also take advantage of our Family Literacy program that allows their children up to the age of five to attend classes also.

Anyone wishing to volunteer in our Citizenship classrooms, please click here for information regarding our Adult Volunteers program.
