The project scope for Crestwood Elementary School consists of the replacement of chiller plants, including system piping, air handling unit (AHU), ductwork, controls, and test & balance.*

The project scope for Cypress Creek Elementary School consists of the replacement of the Energy Management System (EMS) to include system piping, AHU, VAV box, ductwork, dedicated DX OSA system, ventilation exhaust, controls, test & balance, and demolition.*

The project scope for Morgan Woods Elementary School consists of the replacement of chiller plants, including system piping, AHU ductwork, controls, test & balance, and demolition.*

The project scope for Lee Elementary School consists of the replacement of airside and controls, dedicated OSA system, ventilation, controls, test & balance, commissioning, AH, VAV box, ductwork, code DSO items ES, remove existing boiler and demolition.*

The project scope for BT Washington Elementary School consists of the replacement of airside and controls, dedicated OSA system, ventilation, controls, test & balance, commissioning, AH, VAV box, ductwork, code DSO items ES, remove existing boiler and demolition.*

The project scope for Williams Middle School consists of the replacement of the chillers, cooling towers, pumps, system piping, AHU, ductwork as required, controls, test & balance and the removal of the existing boiler.*

*All of the above also includes assistance in the assessment of salvageable equipment and the recovery of refrigerant.

Any applicants interested in providing the required services shall make application by submission of the materials prescribed in the Project Information Packet. The Board shall select a separate design professional and construction manager for each project. However, separate submissions of qualification information for each project are not required; a single submission covering all projects is requested. If an applicant is only interested in one project, they should so state and indicate their preference.

The Project Information Packet, additional project information, and the weights associated with each qualification and evaluation criteria can be obtained by contacting the District’s Operations Division at (813) 272-4112 or via the internet through either the District’s VendorLink or the District’s Construction News website.

Following an evaluation of the submitted qualifications, the committee will conduct in-person interviews with the higher scoring firms, per the information guidelines provided in the Project Information Packet.

All materials must be submitted to the Hillsborough County School Operations Division, 2nd Floor, Velasco Center, 1202 E. Palm Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33605 by 2:00 PM on July 18, 2017.

Interested parties are strongly discouraged from contacting the schools where projects are located. Any questions or clarifications will be addressed at the Q&A session on July 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Velasco Student Services Center in the Operations Conference Room 242.
