As Superintendent of Hillsborough County Public Schools, I am very excited and honored for our district to host the 44th National Alliance of Black School Educators conference.  The Hillsborough Alliance of Black School Educators (HABSE) is an affiliate of the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE). HABSE is committed to improving the educational achievement of all students with a focus on students of African-American descent. We support and advocate for teachers and students, offering activities to enhance student achievement and increase minority representation at all.
