Providing Support for Schools, Students and Families
The Office of Attendance provides support for schools, students and families in an effort to realize the district goal of 96% student attendance. The attendance office also fulfills the responsibilities assigned by the State of Florida to monitor student attendance and address chronic absenteeism and truancy. The attendance office collaborates with community and government agencies to address the causes of truancy and chronic absenteeism in an effort to afford every student the best opportunity for a successful education. The attendance office also works closely with district and school personnel to improve school wide and individual student attendance.
