Safety, Insurance, and Risk Management Programs

The Risk Management and Safety Office cover a wide variety of areas that includes self-insurance for general and auto liability, workers compensation. This office is responsible for Environmental, Inspections, Assessment, Transportation and Traffic Safety. It is also responsible for overall Management of Safety in the District.

This office manages all non-employee Insurance such as property, workers compensation, student athletic insurance and other general liability insurance programs. Hillsborough County Public Schools is a Special Fire District and the Risk and Safety Manager Serves as the Districts Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for all items related to fire safety.
